GTA 6 Preorders Are Live: $79.99 Standard, $99.99 Ultimate
GTA 6 preorders opened today, June 25, exactly as Rockstar announced alongside the cover-art reveal last week.
The lineup is simpler than many expected — two editions, no collector's tier:
- Standard Edition — $79.99 (a new price ceiling for AAA games)
- Ultimate Edition — $99.99, adding the '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, the Paradise Garage, two exclusive mod shops, a four-car Classic Car Collection commission and exclusive salon cosmetics for Jason and Lucia
Every preorder placed before November 20 — either edition — includes the Vintage Vice City Pack: a '55 Vapid Stanier, the Shore Court garage near Ocean Beach, exclusive outfits and hairstyles, and a weapon pattern.
Notably, nothing in the Ultimate Edition affects story or progression — Rockstar kept gameplay-gating out of the premium tier.
Analysts are already calling this the strongest preorder campaign ever recorded, with launch-week sales projections in the billions — though Take-Two itself has published no numbers, so treat those as estimates.
