GTA 6 Characters: Lucia, Jason and Leonida's Full Cast

Updated:

Rockstar's own site has carried full bios for eight named GTA 6 characters since the May 2025 relaunch, a tagline and a paragraph each, tucked inside the interactive Only in Leonida map. Most coverage quotes a line and moves on. Here is the complete official picture, character by character, with nothing added that Rockstar hasn't put its own name to.

Lucia Caminos fights her way out of the Leonida Penitentiary

Born in Liberty City, Lucia moved to Leonida with her family and learned to fight early. Protecting her family is what put her away, in the Leonida Penitentiary, not the "Leonida State Prison" name that circulates on fan wikis and that this page used to carry too. A stroke of luck got her out. Trailer 1 opened on her parole hearing, and Rockstar's bio picks up from there: fresh out of prison and committed to smarter moves than the ones that got her locked up in the first place.

Jason Duval wants an easy life Leonida won't give him

Jason grew up around grifters, did a stint in the Army trying to shake off his troubled teens, and landed in the Leonida Keys working for local drug runners instead. He does favors for that operation in exchange for rent and clearly wants out. Rockstar's own line about meeting Lucia hedges on purpose: it could be the best or worst thing that ever happens to him, and Jason himself isn't sure which yet. That drug-running operation is Brian Heder's, which is the one thread tying Jason's own bio directly to the older half of the supporting cast rather than leaving him as an outsider dropped into Leonida cold.

The dual-protagonist setup still hides its mechanics

You play both leads. That much has been settled since the character pages went up. What Rockstar has never detailed is how switching between them works in GTA 6, whether it follows GTA V's free-switch model, ties to specific missions, or does something new. Every claim about deeper switching mechanics is unconfirmed, however confidently it's phrased elsewhere. The one framing line Rockstar has published for both of them together describes a "criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida," which at least confirms the story is built to move both leads through the whole map rather than keeping one in Vice City and one in the Keys.

No voice actor has been officially confirmed

Search interest in the GTA 6 voice cast is high, and the guessing has an obvious cause: Rockstar has never announced a voice actor for a mainline GTA game before release, and this one is no exception. Names attached to Lucia, Jason and Brian Heder circulate constantly, sourced to talent-agency reels, alleged SAG-AFTRA filings and fan pattern-matching on trailer voices. None of it traces to a Rockstar statement, a credits list or an actor's own confirmation. Treat every "GTA 6 voice actors" list you see, including ones that cite legal filings, as unverified until Rockstar's own credits say otherwise. That has historically happened at launch, not before it.

Cal Hampton watches the coast so Jason doesn't have to

Cal is Jason's friend and, separately, one of Brian Heder's associates, which makes him the connective tissue between the two halves of the supporting cast. Rockstar's bio places him at home, monitoring Coast Guard radio traffic with a beer and a browser full of open tabs. His tagline asks whether everything on the internet is true. Judging by how he spends his time, Cal has decided it might as well be.

Boobie Ike and Dre'Quan Priest are building the same label

Boobie turned his time on the street into a legitimate spread: real estate, a strip club, a recording studio. Rockstar calls him a Vice City legend who acts like one. His real stake, by his own bio, isn't any of that. It's Only Raw Records, the label he's backing with Dre'Quan Priest, described as more hustler than gangster, someone who was dealing on the street to get by while music was always the actual plan. Their partnership needs one thing to work: a hit, and Rockstar's own tagline for Boobie leans on a card-game phrase, calling him the Jack of Hearts, which fits a man who keeps every relationship in the game running through charm rather than muscle.

Real Dimez are one hit from replacing their old boss

Bae-Luxe and Roxy, who perform as Real Dimez, have been friends since high school and turned a habit of shaking down local dealers into rap tracks and a relentless social feed. An early single with local rapper DWNPLY got them noticed. Five years and, in Rockstar's own phrasing, "a whole lot of trouble" later, they've signed to Only Raw Records. The wrinkle Rockstar's bios set up themselves: once Real Dimez are official label talent, Dre'Quan's old job booking acts into Boobie's strip club may not be needed much longer.

Raul Bautista and Brian Heder are Leonida's old guard

Raul is a bank robber running on confidence, charm and cunning, always scouting talent willing to take bigger risks for bigger scores; GTAbase's profile carries the same description. Rockstar's second line on him reads as a warning more than a compliment: his crew will eventually have to double down or fold. Brian Heder is the other veteran of the group, a drug runner from the Keys' smuggling heyday who still moves product through his boat yard, with his third wife Lori keeping close, a detail GTA BOOM's character profile also carries independently. He lets younger associates, Jason among them, take the actual risk. Jason currently lives rent-free on one of Brian's properties in exchange for handling local shakedowns.

Lori and DWNPLY are named without profile pages

Two more people show up inside the official bios without getting a profile of their own. Lori is named as Brian Heder's third wife, running the books alongside his boat yard operation. DWNPLY is named as the local rapper behind Real Dimez's early breakout single. Neither gets a character page, a portrait or a tagline, which is a useful distinction to keep straight: Rockstar clearly separates its eight headline profiles from names it drops for texture inside someone else's bio. Anything built out further than that, a face, a full name, a bigger role, is speculation until Rockstar gives them a page of their own.

What Rockstar still hasn't named

No antagonist. No mission structure. No confirmation of how deep the character-switching system goes. On the relationship question, Rockstar North co-studio head Rob Nelson has since gone slightly further than the marketing copy, telling Famitsu that how much depth the Jason-Lucia bond gets is left up to the player rather than fixed by the script, though how that translates into actual mechanics is still undescribed. The eight profiled names above, plus Lori and DWNPLY on the margins, are the complete official cast as of today, unchanged since the character pages went live and untouched by the ongoing leaks, which we don't draw character details from. If Trailer 3 or the August 27 Extended Look adds a face or a name, this page updates the same day.

Everything above traces back to Rockstar's own bios rather than a summary written by someone else, worth knowing given how much GTA 6 character content ranking right now is paraphrased two or three times removed from the source.
