GTA 6 Cars & Vehicles: Every One Rockstar Has Named
Edited by Arthur HofUpdated: Last verified:
Rockstar has not published a GTA 6 vehicle list. No count, no classes, no handling details, no confirmation of aircraft. What it has done is name seven vehicles inside its edition pages, because they are bonus content. This page lists exactly those, in Rockstar's wording, and keeps everything else in a separate "not known" column. We read rockstargames.com/VI/ultimate-edition on 14 October 2026 for every entry below.
Included in every preorder: the '55 Vapid Stanier
The Vintage Vice City Pack is labelled "PRE-ORDER BONUS" on Rockstar's page and, per our editions guide, goes to Standard and Ultimate orders alike. Rockstar's copy calls it a "timeless two-tone '55 Vapid Stanier sedan and garage alongside the world-famous Ocean Beach". The same page adds: "Cruise Shore Drive in this classic sedan and store it in the Shore Court personal garage". The garage "features a weapon locker plus a secure place to deposit stolen goods to be fenced."
That makes the Stanier the only named vehicle you can get without paying for the Ultimate Edition. Rockstar's artwork shows Jason and Lucia in and around it. The editions guide also has the full pack contents and the cut-off date.
The Ultimate Edition vehicles
The Ultimate Edition Upgrade is the other source. Rockstar's page sorts these items under labels such as "Vehicle" and "Watercraft", which is how we group them.
- '95 Grotti Cheetah. "Grotti's signature mid '90s sports car and ode to Shore Drive", with "a minimalist, retro-futuristic livery". Rockstar says it is "available to punctuate later-stage action". That is the only timing hint on the page for any car.
- '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy. "A Mud Club monster offering impressive off-road handling for the backwoods of Mount Kalaga and beyond." It comes with the Paradise Garage in Watson Bay, which has a weapon locker and a place to deposit stolen goods.
- Shitzu Squalo. The one boat Rockstar names: "this gradient pink and blue Squalo docked at Washington Beach is made open-ocean-ready with an explosives-laden weapons crate". The copy mentions casting in Gambit Bay, so fishing is implied but not described as a feature.
- Jason's Safehouse Vehicles. A "Dinka Enduro motorcycle" in an Army fatigue-tinged finish and a "Crest Kayak". Rockstar's image of the safehouse shows the Vapid Ganado, the Enduro and the Kayak parked outside it.
- Ganado Retro Build. A modkit for "Jason's well-worn Vapid Ganado low-riding pickup". "Well-worn" suggests Jason already has the pickup in the story, so the Ultimate content only changes how it looks.
Two more Ultimate items concern cars without being vehicles. The Classic Car Collection is a "special commission from eccentric collector and local fixer, Wyman": you "track down a variety of abandoned classic and work-in-progress project cars and revitalize them". Rockstar gives no number of cars. The two mod shops, Rideout Customs ("Transform vanilla vehicles into magnificent works of art with detailed interiors, exquisite rims, and donk stylings") and One-Eyed Willie's in Lake Leonida ("off-road modifications and hand-painted automotive artistry"), are explained in the businesses guide.
What Rockstar's wording does and doesn't tell you
Three details are worth reading closely.
Customising is a defined feature. Two shops are dedicated to vehicle modification, and the copy names rims, interiors, paint and donk (raised) styling. GTA V also had car modification at its own shops, so this is a continuation of something the series already does, not a new promise.
The geography is deliberate. The Stanier is tied to Ocean Beach and Shore Drive, the Squalo to Washington Beach and Gambit Bay, the Buggy to Mount Kalaga and Watson Bay. Our setting guide covers those districts. The off-road line in the Buggy's text is the only official hint that Mount Kalaga's trails are meant to be driven.
Ultimate items arrive across the story. Rockstar's edition copy says the Ultimate content surfaces over the story's chapters. We unpacked that in the story chapters post, so don't expect a garage full of cars on day one.
What is reported, not confirmed
Two vehicle details come from preview coverage, not from Rockstar. Outlets covering the creator preview say stolen high-end cars carry a police tracker that a specific garage can strip, and that fuel exists and is refilled at gas stations. Both sit in our gameplay guide under Reported. A single creator also says the handbrake moves to X while driving; our controls page tracks it. None of that is on Rockstar's own pages.
What nobody has published
- A full vehicle list, or how many vehicles the game has.
- Vehicle classes: supercars, trucks, bikes, boats, aircraft. Rockstar has named four cars and pickups, one motorcycle and two watercraft, and nothing in the air.
- Handling, speed, damage and physics details.
- Whether you can own and store a large collection of cars, or how many garages there are beyond the two named ones.
- Which vehicles are in the free base game versus the Ultimate Edition Upgrade. Rockstar only lists what the upgrade adds.
- Any car-themed activity such as races or dealerships. The Classic Car Collection is the only car-related mission-like content Rockstar has described.
- Real-world model names. Rockstar uses fictional makers (Vapid, Grotti, Dinka, Shitzu, Crest), and no source has said which real cars they are based on.
Any "full GTA 6 car list" circulating online comes from datamines, trailer pixel-peeping or guessing. We won't repeat it here, and why viral GTA 6 leaks are fake explains how to check such lists.
When this page updates
It updates when Rockstar names another vehicle, publishes a trailer or Newswire post about driving, or when launch week gives us the game itself. Until then the list above is complete: seven named vehicles, all from Rockstar's own edition pages. Everything else known about the game is in everything we know about GTA 6.
