Take-Two Reaffirms GTA 6's November 19 Launch — Again

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has reaffirmed November 19, 2026 as GTA 6's launch date in a shareholder letter published within a July 17 proxy filing.
If it feels like you've read this headline before, you have. The date has now been publicly backed three times since spring:
- May 21 — Zelnick ruled out another delay on the earnings call and said marketing starts in summer.
- June 25 — preorders opened against the November 19 date.
- July 17 — the shareholder letter restates it once more.
Why this matters
After two delays (from 2025, then from May 26, 2026), skepticism about GTA 6 dates was rational. But companies don't open preorders and schedule preload (November 12) against a date they intend to move. At this point, the date shifting again would be a genuine shock.
The next fixed checkpoint is Take-Two's Q1 FY2027 earnings call on August 7 — and somewhere between now and then, the long-awaited Trailer 3 watch continues.
