Who Is Jason Duval in GTA 6? Official Bio and Links

Jason Duval is the second character you play in GTA 6. Rockstar sums him up in one line: he wants an easy life, but things just keep getting harder. He is also the most connected person on the evidence board, with three named links in Rockstar's bios.

Jason tried the Army and ended up back in the trade

He grew up around grifters and crooks. A stint in the Army was meant to shake off his troubled teens. It didn't stick: he ended up in the Leonida Keys doing what he knows best, working for local drug runners. Rockstar's bio adds, a little drily, that it might be time to try something new.

That new thing arrives in the second paragraph. Meeting Lucia could be the best or worst thing to ever happen to him, and Jason knows how he'd like it to turn out, but Rockstar says it's hard to tell. Lucia's bio answers from her side: a life with Jason could be her way out.

Brian Heder is his landlord and his boss

Jason's own bio doesn't name the drug runners. Brian Heder's does. Brian lets Jason live rent-free at one of his properties, as long as he helps with local shakedowns and stops by for Lori's sangria once in a while. So the rent is paid in collections work, and Brian, by his own bio, has been around long enough to let others do his dirty work.

The third link is Cal Hampton. Cal's bio calls him Jason's friend and a fellow associate of Brian's, which makes the three of them the only closed triangle on the board. Cal is happy where he is; his bio says Jason has bigger plans. That is as close as Rockstar gets to saying Jason wants out.

You play him, but switching follows the story

Jason is fully playable. Per Rob Nelson's Famitsu interview, whoever you are not playing keeps their own routine, and the story decides when you can switch. His voice actor is not confirmed

No actor has confirmed playing Jason, and Rockstar has published no credits. Names that circulate trace back to fan voice-matching, not a statement. The cast guide tracks the one confirmed cast member so far, Stephen Root, whose voice fans match to Brian Heder.
