Cyberleek Threatens a Full GTA 6 Build Leak: What We Know

ReportedEdited by Rockstar Games4 min read

The leaker known as Cyberleek has issued an ultimatum. If a memecoin tied to the leaker reaches a $30 million market cap, "the build goes out": a complete GTA 6 build with the story mode played to the credits. Outlets including 80.lv, Games.gg and Tom's Hardware covered it between 10 and 12 October.

This carries our Reported badge. Nobody has verified that such a build exists, and neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has answered. We link to no token, no post and no file.

What Cyberleek is demanding

Playday traces the statement to Cyberleek via the leak tracker ShiinaBR on X. The condition is the token's market cap passing $30 million.

The alternative, per 80.lv, is that Take-Two ships physical discs and issues a public apology. 80.lv adds that the leaker framed this as three consumer principles: no digital-only preorders, no single-player content already in the base files sold later as DLC, and offline functionality for single-player games. Tom's Hardware says the post is titled "The Offer" and calls it more openly self-serving than earlier messaging.

None of the outlets reports a deadline.

What is verified and what is not

Nothing is verified. Games.gg says the claim "has not been independently verified" and that there is no way to check what the files contain. Playday reports that Cyberleek offers proof on request, but none of the reports we read describes proof that was independently checked.

Tom's Hardware leans toward treating the build as real and points to the roughly $250,000 the leaker reportedly cashed out earlier. That shows the memecoin made money, as we reported in the crypto cash-out story. It does not show that a full build exists. Playday also calls it a PC build, while Rockstar's own page lists only PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Our caution from the earlier leaks still applies. In August the alleged leakers said their clips were years old, so even genuine material can differ from the game that ships.

How this fits the pattern

The first wave arrived on 18 August with a manifesto and a memecoin, and wallets linked to it moved about $268,000 a week later. On 8 October Cyberleek returned with a 25-minute file called "Extended Leek", which we covered in our report on that file. Two days later came the full-build ultimatum.

Each step raises the stakes, while the evidence stays the same: claims from the leaker, relayed by outlets, with nothing confirmed by Rockstar. Tom's Hardware repeats that Rockstar's only comment so far is that the situation is "heartbreaking" for the team. That is a statement about the people who made the game, not a confirmation of any file.

Why the memecoin condition matters

The trigger is a price target for the leaker's own token, so every wave of attention to the threat helps the number. Games.gg calls the condition "a built-in escape hatch": the build is only released if a price rises, and if it does not, nothing has to be delivered.

The numbers are far from the target. 80.lv put the market cap at about $5.95 million when it published and $3.12 million later, and Tom's Hardware reports an earlier, lower threshold of $6 million tied to "4K closeups". Prices move by the hour, so treat any figure as a snapshot. This is not financial advice, and we don't link to the token.

What it means for your launch

The date has not moved. Rockstar's GTA VI page still reads "Coming November 19, 2026" for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, as we checked today. The delay tracker lists every official reaffirmation.

There is no disc. The boxed Standard Edition holds a download code, and our editions guide has the details and what Rockstar's support page says. Rockstar has not signalled a change, and nothing on its site suggests one.

Fake downloads are the real risk. Every leak cycle brings "full game" installers. GTA 6 has no demo and no public build, and after the August wave Malwarebytes found that fake demo sites delivered an infostealer. If a file claims to run GTA 6 before 19 November, assume it is malware.

Spoilers will travel. If a build does surface, expect takedowns, reposts and clips. Muting leak keywords is the simplest way to stay clean.

What would change this

A statement from Rockstar or Take-Two, a court filing, or independent proof from someone with no stake in the token. We will update this post if any of those arrives. Until then, treat the threat as what it is: a claim, with a price target attached.
