Take-Two Earnings Call Nov 9: What It Means for GTA 6

Take-Two will report its fiscal second-quarter results on Monday, 9 November 2026, ten days before Grand Theft Auto VI launches. The company put the date on its investor relations site today, 13 October, and says the conference call starts at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
It is the last scheduled earnings report before launch. Our delay tracker has been waiting on this date since the August report, and it now has one.
What Take-Two actually said
The notice on Take-Two's investor relations page reads: the company "today announced that it plans to report financial results for its second quarter of fiscal year 2027, ended September 30, 2026, after the market close on Monday, November 9, 2026."
The call is listen-only, with a live webcast and a replay at take2games.com/ir. The notice gives no clock time for the results release itself, only "after the market close". Plan around the call, not around a specific minute for the numbers.
The call time where you live
| Where | 9 November |
|---|---|
| US Eastern | 4:30 p.m. |
| US Pacific | 1:30 p.m. |
| UK | 9:30 p.m. |
| Germany, Austria, Switzerland | 22:30 |
| UTC | 21:30 |
US clocks go back on 1 November, so the call lands on standard time, and Europe already moved on 25 October. If you are in the DACH region, our Deutschland guide keeps the launch-day conversions in one place.
What is already on file
Take-Two's Q1 release from 7 August is the baseline this report gets measured against. Three things in it matter.
- Q2 outlook. Net Bookings of $1,620 to $1,670 million, GAAP net revenue of $1,420 to $1,470 million, and a GAAP net loss of $140 to $157 million.
- Full-year outlook. Net Bookings of $8.0 to $8.2 billion, which Take-Two tied to "the November 19th launch of Grand Theft Auto VI" in the same release.
- The lineup table. Grand Theft Auto VI, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, November 19, 2026. PC is not listed.
Those figures are Take-Two's own projections, not results. The 9 November report is the first time the Q2 range gets checked against what actually happened, and the first time the company can say how the full-year range looks with launch ten days away.
The quarter ended on 30 September, so it contains no launch sales. It covers three months of the preorder window that opened on 25 June. Whether Take-Two breaks out a preorder figure is its own call, and in August it did not. Our breakdown of the Q1 call has the full numbers.
Why this report is the one to watch
The last time the date moved, it moved on an earnings day. Rockstar posted November 19, 2026 on its Newswire on 6 November 2025, and Take-Two's Q2 FY2026 results carried the same date that day. The tracker has both documents.
That is a pattern worth knowing, not a forecast. Today, rockstargames.com/VI still shows "Coming November 19, 2026" next to a Pre-Order button, the ESRB lists the game, and Rockstar has opened an official merch store. We see nothing on the record that points to a move. That is an observation about the evidence, not a promise, and Take-Two's filings carry the usual forward-looking caveats.
What to watch on the night
- The lineup table. Does it still list November 19 and the same two platforms?
- The full-year outlook. Reiterated, raised or cut. A change to the $8.0 to $8.2 billion range is the first number to check.
- A preorder figure. None was given in August. Anything in the release would be new.
- PC and online. Neither is in the lineup. A PC date or a confirmed online mode would be real news, and we would label anything outside the release itself as Reported.
None of this is promised. An earnings call answers analysts' questions, not fans' questions, and Take-Two has said nothing about discussing any of these points.
How we will cover it
On the evening of 9 November we read the release itself before touching the tracker. What the document says gets the Confirmed badge and a new row. Remarks from the call stay Reported until we have read the transcript.
Until then, the date to plan around is 19 November. The countdown has the live number, and everything we know about GTA 6 holds the rest of what is confirmed.
