Confirmed: GTA 6: The Album Is Real, 34 Tracks, Six Out Now

A week after ten musicians posted matching neon art with no explanation, Rockstar put its own name on it. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is officially confirmed: 34 original tracks made for the game, releasing alongside it on November 19, with six songs already streaming. The reported tease from September 15 just became a Rockstar Newswire fact.
What was a guess is now a tracklist
Rockstar's Newswire post names the album outright and puts six songs out immediately: Yung Lean's "That's It" featuring Future and Metro Boomin, Travis Scott's "RHYNO" (produced by Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo), "Sexy Magic" from CA7RIEL, Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, and Fred again.., Morgan Wallen's "Last Thing You Need," Rauw Alejandro's "Macacoa 2000," and Keith Richards' "Bright Lights, Big City." Every one of those names showed up in last week's unconfirmed round of celebrity posts. The guesswork about who was involved turned out to be accurate, even if nobody outside Rockstar knew the song titles yet.
That leaves 28 tracks still unnamed. GTA BASE's full breakdown of pricing and editions confirms there's no word yet on which songs land on which in-game radio station, or whether any of the six released so far even play on the radio versus existing as standalone album cuts.
Physical editions are already selling out
The album ships digitally, on CD, and on two vinyl pressings. Standard vinyl (transparent magenta with a blue splatter design) runs $49.98, the CD is $19.98, and a limited-edition double vinyl (magenta discs filled with blue liquid) sold out within minutes of going up at $124.98. All three are listed through the album's dedicated storefront, with additional vinyl colorways split across retailers including Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Target, Barnes & Noble, and Urban Outfitters. Physical copies are expected to ship November 20, one day after the game itself.
Worth separating from the hype: this is billed as original music made for GTA 6, not the full radio lineup. Past Grand Theft Auto games paired a handful of original productions with dozens of licensed tracks per station, so the in-game soundtrack fans actually drive around to will almost certainly be much larger than these 34 songs once every station is revealed.
Why a game soundtrack sells out vinyl in minutes
A GTA soundtrack credit has become one of the more valuable placements in music marketing precisely because of what happened after last month's Extended Look. Decades-old songs used in that trailer saw streaming spikes of over 1,000% in the days that followed, according to GamingBible's coverage of the album reveal. That math explains why a splatter-vinyl pressing of songs nobody had heard a week ago moved fast enough to sell out before most fans even saw the announcement. It also explains why an act like Keith Richards, decades outside GTA's usual marketing demographic, would want billing next to Travis Scott and Morgan Wallen on the same release.
The retailer split matters too. Spreading exclusive vinyl colorways across Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Target, Barnes & Noble, and Urban Outfitters instead of selling everything through one storefront is a standard collectible-drop tactic. It multiplies the number of places a fan has to check, which multiplies the number of times GTA 6 shows up in a retailer's own marketing emails and in-store displays between now and November.
The rollout makes more sense now
Last week's post on this flagged the pattern without being able to confirm it: ten artists teasing involvement on their own accounts, no shared hashtag, no Rockstar confirmation, timed too tightly to be a coincidence. That's now confirmed as exactly what it looked like — a coordinated pre-announcement Rockstar let the artists run before putting its own branding on it. It's the same marketing pattern Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick described days earlier: turning awareness into enthusiasm through a steady drip of beats rather than one single reveal.
What's still unconfirmed
Rockstar hasn't said which of the 34 tracks are exclusive to the album versus also playing in-game, hasn't named a single radio station, and hasn't published the remaining 28 song titles or artists. Treat the six released tracks and the pricing as fact; treat any theory about specific station assignments or in-game placement as fan speculation until Rockstar's own station reveals start landing. For everything else Rockstar has actually confirmed before launch, the everything-we-know hub tracks it separately from the marketing noise, and preorder details cover what ships with each edition on November 19.
