GTA 6 Score Album by Justice: 30 Tracks, Out December 11

ConfirmedEdited by Rockstar Newswire: Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score by Justice (October 29, 2026)5 min read

Rockstar has announced a second GTA 6 music release, and it is not the one you can pre-save for launch day. Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score is a separate album composed by Justice, with 30 tracks, and it is due on 11 December 2026, 22 days after the game. This is Confirmed: we fetched Rockstar's own pages for this story.

What Rockstar says about the score album

Rockstar posted "Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score by Justice" on the Newswire on 29 October. The article page describes the score like this: "The Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score is composed by Grammy Award winners Justice, the renowned French duo of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay."

The full details sit on Rockstar's music page, which now has a "Score" block above the radio stations and the soundtrack. Quoting it:

  • "Coming December 11 to all major music streaming services as well as on CD and vinyl, the official Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score album features 30 tracks, along with a number of digital bonus tracks included across all formats."
  • Two singles can be played in full on the page: "Flower in a Hurricane" (ft. Tame Impala, SZA, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard) and "Pusher" (ft. Gesaffelstein).
  • The page has buttons to pre-save the digital album and to pre-order vinyl or CD. The shop block lists a "Limited Triple Crystal Clear Vinyl" and a "Double CD".

The page shows no prices for either format. We won't guess them.

The score is adaptive, in Rockstar's words

This is the first official description of how the music behaves in the game. Rockstar calls it "this adaptive score" and says Justice's compositions are "all dynamically tuned to the different ways players engage with the world of Vice City and Leonida throughout Jason and Lucia's story."

That matches what Rockstar teased on 17 September, when it promised more on "the dynamic score". Our soundtrack guide carried that as an open question. Now there is a sentence, but still no mechanics. Rockstar does not say what triggers a change, how many layers a piece has, or whether the 30 album tracks are the music you hear in the game or a listening edit of it. Treat anything beyond the quoted wording as guesswork.

Two albums, two dates

The naming is easy to mix up, so here is the split:

Tracks34 original tracks30 tracks, plus digital bonus tracks

"Flower in a Hurricane" sits in both worlds. It debuted in the Launch Trailer, Rockstar's music page still lists it among the singles of The Album, and it is now also a score single. Whether it appears on both releases is not something Rockstar spells out, so we don't claim it. Our report on the album announcement has the rollout for the November release.

The album's page on Rockstar's site still says 34 tracks and "Coming November 19", so the score does not replace anything. If you only want one, the November album is the one that arrives with the game.

What this means for launch day

Nothing about the game changed. The score album is a music product, not an edition perk: neither of the game's two editions is described as including it, and the release date of the game stays at 19 November. The delay history and Take-Two's latest statements are in our release date tracker.

Practical points for fans:

  • The 11 December date is after launch. If you want the score album in your library on day one, it won't be there. Rockstar describes the score as part of the game's story, so the music itself is part of the 19 November game, not a December extra.
  • The pre-save and pre-order buttons are on Rockstar's page. We have not tested them and can't say how each streaming service handles the date.
  • The radio is separate again. The six stations Rockstar named on 8 October are covered in our radio stations report, and no score or album track is tied to a station.

Rockstar's official site lists the score post at the top of its Featured News block, dated 29 October, above the Launch Trailer post from 15 October. The music section of the site has been renamed to "In-Game Radio, Soundtrack, and Score", which shows how Rockstar now sees the three pieces: radio, album, score.

What is still unannounced

  • The titles of the other 28 score tracks, and which tracks are the "digital bonus" ones.
  • Prices for the vinyl and CD.
  • Whether more score singles will land before 11 December.
  • The rest of the in-game radio station list.

We will keep the running list on the soundtrack guide and add this release there. For the full picture of what Rockstar has confirmed, see everything we know, and check the countdown for the live clock to launch.
