GTA 6 Vice City Collection Is Official: $399.99, No Game
Rockstar made the GTA 6 collector's box official on Thursday 24 September: eleven items, $399.99, shipping from launch day, and no copy of the game. It is the product our store-data leak report flagged the same day under the Reported badge. Rockstar has now put its name on it, so this one is Confirmed.
What Rockstar announced
The Newswire post is titled "Pre-Order The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection Now While Supplies Last." Rockstar describes it as "a premium Grand Theft Auto VI collectible set featuring all the essentials for a good time," inspired by Macca the Gator, a TV show that exists inside Leonida.
Rockstar's page doesn't load for plain fetchers, so the price, item list and shipping terms below come from the Rockstar Games Store listing as quoted by Vice and Wccftech. They agree on the price and the item list.
It also continues a pattern. Since the Extended Look on 27 August, Rockstar has put something out every Thursday, and 24 September made it five in a row.
The price buys a box, not the game
The Vice City Collection costs $399.99. Vice reports that Rockstar's listing states Grand Theft Auto VI is sold separately. There is no disc and no download code in it, and nothing in Rockstar's description or the coverage lists in-game items.
Owning both means paying twice. The Standard Edition at $79.99 plus the box is $479.98, and the Ultimate Edition at $99.99 plus the box is $499.98, before shipping and tax. The box is merchandise, not a third edition, and our editions guide still lists exactly two.

The box measures roughly 48 x 34 x 32 cm, according to Wccftech. Oakley and New Era are outside brands, so parts of the set are collaborations.
It ships on launch day, which is not delivery day
The listing says the box is available to ship from 19 November 2026. Vice notes that shipping costs extra and that the item isn't eligible for free shipping. "Available to ship" means it leaves the warehouse then. It does not mean it lands on your doorstep the morning you play, and delivery time depends on the option you pick at checkout. Once it ships you get a confirmation email with tracking. Our countdown is at 54 days to the game itself.
Only North America and Europe can order for now
Wccftech reports that preorders are open for North America and Europe only. Rockstar says details for Asia, Latin America and Australia will follow. Press-Start reports that the Rockstar Store doesn't ship to Australia and that Rockstar has promised Australian preorders through local retailers, without naming one.
Stock is limited, and Rockstar's last sellout was fast
The Newswire title says "While Supplies Last," and Vice describes it as a limited item sold in small quantities. Rockstar's last limited physical drop already went that way: the limited vinyl for GTA VI: The Album sold out within minutes. If you want the box, don't treat the 19 November ship date as your deadline.
The backend entry we covered earlier carried a one-per-customer cap. None of the coverage we read says whether the live listing keeps it, so check the store page before you plan around a second box.
Rockstar has done the no-game box before
Wccftech points out that the Red Dead Redemption 2 Collector's Box cost $99.99 and also shipped without the game, and that Rockstar framed it as a companion package rather than an edition. The format is not new. The price is roughly four times higher.
What this doesn't confirm
Rockstar has not announced a Collector's Edition that includes the game. The two editions, Standard and Ultimate, are unchanged. The boxed "Collector's Edition" photos we debunked earlier this month also stay debunked: they showed a disc cutout, and the real box holds no game at all.
Rockstar also says more GTA VI apparel and collectibles are coming to its store soon. No items or dates have been given.
